Model Ingredients

Building models like building anything relies on sub-components.  To build models of chemicals in environmental engineering systems relies on the capacity to work with chemical concentrations, to deal with reactions (stoichiometry, equilibrium and kinetics), to use thermodynamics (0th, 1st and 2nd laws; reaction and phase equilibrium) and to incorporate transport phenomena (fluid, heat and mass).
